Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Outdoor Classroom Day is a global campaign to celebrate and inspire outdoor learning and play. On the day, thousands of schools around the world take lessons outdoors and prioritise playtime. In 2018, over 3.5 million children worldwide took part, more than 550,000 of those were in the UK and Ireland.
Outdoor learning improves children’s health, engages them with learning and leads to a greater connection with nature. Play not only teaches critical life skills such as resilience, teamwork and creativity, but is central to children’s enjoyment of childhood.
At Cila we greatly value outdoor learning. Each class has been involved today in outdoor activities linked to their themes

We will be taking part in the Rags2Riches4Schools collection project again this term on Thursday 14th November, as part of our Eco School work. Each pupil will be given a collection bag to fill with unwanted items of clothing, shoes, costume jewellery, belts or handbags. Please remember all clothing should be clean, dry and reusable - something you would wear on a day out yourself, or pass on to friends and family. The clothing is used around the world as affordable clothing. Rags2Riches4Schools do not accept school uniform, duvets, curtains, rags or wet items.
Can all bags be brought to school between Monday 11th November and Thursday 14th November (before the collection time of 9am) please.
Many thanks for your continued support.
