In the current climate, both children and adults may be worried or anxious about returning to school.
We have been sent a short Story about Sammy the Sloth facing his fears and returning to school,it has been written and illustrated by Rachel Cook.
This resource can be accessed in the"Newsletters" section on the website.
You may want to read this story with your child which in turn, may open up opportunities for discussion around how your child is feeling.
We are looking forward to welcoming our pupils back to school.
Theatr na nÓg have kindly shared a second production with us for KS2 pupils to watch. Its taken from their show The White Feather and has an historical theme based around the First World War. Click on the link to watch it.

As you are aware schools across Wales are re-opening to more pupils from June 29th 2020 in a phased manner. In order to do this safely we are following WG Guidance and LA Guidance. We are working with the LA to write a Risk Assessment and will be following an Operational Plan to return to Education. I am sure you will fully appreciate the complexities of re-opening our school under Welsh Government directives.
To help support us in our early stages of preparation of a safe return to school we need to know if you intend to send your child back to school this term. The time between 29th June and July 24th will be used for ‘check in and catch up’ sessions. School times and sessions will be different from our usual routine and it is hoped that children will be able to attend a session three times before the end of term if capacity allows us to do this safely. Please can you indicate your intention by kindly answering the questions below.
Please complete and return your responses by 3pm on Thursday 18th June 2020 Many thanks for providing this valuable information for us to use in supporting a safe return to school.
